Definitions
Kaptura: Web platform dedicated to the management, viewing and collaborative downloading of event photographs, operated by Kaptura.
Service: The set of features offered by Kaptura, including the creation of event albums, photo uploads, content moderation, on-screen viewing and professional tools depending on the type of account or product purchased.
Single Event: The basic unit of the service. It corresponds to a digital album associated with a specific event date, with a defined lifecycle (see section 3).
Organizer: Individual or legal entity that purchases Kaptura’s service to manage one or more Single Events.
Photographer: Partner account enabled by Kaptura to manage events and showcase their professional work within the albums.
Guest: User who accesses the platform via QR, link or code to interact with an event’s content.
Admin panel: Web interface accessed by the Organizer and the Photographer to configure and manage their events.
Safekeeping Phase: State of an album in which the photographs are not publicly visible but remain stored in a recoverable form for an additional period.
Album Extension: Additional payment that extends the lifetime of a specific album beyond its standard viewing period, or that allows it to be recovered from the Safekeeping Phase.
